About the role
Platform Engineer, Certifications is a key role responsible to support, test and certify partners integrating with our acquiring platform. This role will also have the responsibility to define, maintain the testing scripts and validation criteria.
Responsibilities may evolve as the company adapts to the latest market demands. Listed below are the key responsibilities.
What you will do
- Define, maintain, improve internal test scripts and validation criteria
- Work closely with PM teams to ensure alignment on prioritization and overall delivery processes
- Provide professional consultancy/support to partners during their integration with our acquiring platform
- Maintain/Coordinate the setup of UAT environment to accommodate client testing
- Follow internal certification processes to ensure partner integration solution meet requirements
- Maintain a list of test cards for client certifications
- Support other teams by performing internal testing of new functionalities
Who you are
- Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills
- Hold a third level Business, IT or Finance degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years working experience in a similar role
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to evolving responsibilities related to keeping pace with shifting market requirements
What you will need to bring to Planet
- Ability to learn and adapt to evolving responsibilities related to keeping pace with shifting market requirements
- Understanding of the payments ecosystem including eCommerce payments.
- Experience in POS/Ecommerce integrations
- Understanding of transaction protocols example ISO8583
- Understanding of digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.) will be considered advantage
- Understanding of Mobile InApp / on device payments will be considered an advantage
