Field/Driver Plumbing Apprentice- General Labor
General Labor for Pumping and Plumbing- Desire to work and be paid necessary!

A&P provides an initial 12 weeks of paid pumping, plumbing, sewer and drain service training, plus continuing training is available for the right candidate if you want to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a journeyman/journeywoman plumber’s license. All current plumbing apprentices highly encouraged to apply! We are located in Batavia, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Plumbing service technicians use their skills to provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.
• A service call begins with diagnosing problems then providing cost estimates to perform work.
• Unclog and clean sewer lines and other drains for the customer using hydro-jetting and rodding equipment.
• Repairing, replacing, and maintaining bother sewer lines, floor drains, grease traps, and other plumbing lines.
• Assisting with septic system repairs including; field vac's, new installs, pump replacements, and other system repairs.
• Assisting with the installation of UCO pumping systems.
• Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a smartphone.
• Collect payment and move on to the next service call.
• On-call weekend services are required.

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license
• Effective communication skills
• Prior plumbing experience is a required
• Hydro-Jetting & Rodding experience is preferred
• A mechanical aptitude is preferred
