Job Summary

Established plumbing and mechanical contractor currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plumbing Superintendent in the Tallahassee area. This position will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing a large team for projects including schools, hospitals, health science and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, fixtures and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes
• Manage and supervise employees on the jobsite
• Create and submit detailed daily job reports
• Read and execute blueprints precisely
• Quality control

Skills

• Knowledge of tools, machines and plumbing methods
• Working knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Plumbing Superintendent
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Willing and able to work a 40+ hour week
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Work outside in various weather conditions
• Clear criminal record for educational and correctional facility projects
• Valid photo ID

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
