PM Technician (Construction Equipment) $2000 Signing Bonus

Position Overview

With the training we provide, the Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician helps Arnold to keep that standing.

Summary/ Objective

The applicant should be experienced in the servicing, minor repairs of Volvo, Caterpillar, Bob Cat, and John Deere machinery along with assorted construction support equipment such as portable air compressors, welders, and light plants, etc.

Essential Job Functions:

• Must have a current CDL Class B, DOT Medical Card, and an insurable driving record
• MSHA certified or able to be MSHA certified
• One year of mechanical experience
• Repairing and maintaining construction equipment
• Travel to various job sites
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble all construction equipment
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic with knowledge of yellow iron or completion of a diesel mechanic program
• Process revenue field service work orders, obtain purchase orders from customers daily
• Open and close Work Orders daily
• Take phone calls for service jobs
• Communicate the job status, progress, and/or problems to the customer
• Perform oil changes on construction equipment as per company requirements & OEM guidelines
• Work outdoors daily in all weather conditions
• Troubleshooting from a laptop in the field

Non-essential Job Functions:

• Safety requirements are met at all times
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Clean driving record
• Maintain a clean workspace

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects between 50-75 lbs.
• Extent Flexibility - The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
• Information Ordering - The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations)

• Hearing Sensitivity - The ability to detect or tell the differences between sounds that vary in pitch and loudness
• Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects, and the use of torque wrenches, operate forklifts, pallet jacks, indoor/outdoor cranes
