JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Powder Coater Reports To: Powder Coater Line Manager

Department(s): Paint/ Packing and Assembly FLSA Status: Non-exempt

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Paint Parts.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Ensures adherence to daily paint schedule.
• Performs tasks assigned by the Powder Coater line manager
• Able to troubleshoot minor paint line problems.
• Monitors powder material inventory.
• Able to maintain quality for long periods of time
• Able to maintain a repetitive sweeping motion for long periods of time.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Two years of Powder Coating experience preferred

US Citizen or Resident Alien Card
Speaks English – preferred

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Seeing: Must be able to read reports, use computer, see in dimly lit/confined spaces, read a tape measure or other measuring device.

Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co- workers, identify machine sounds

Frequent Standing/Walking

Frequent Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling

Occasional Lift/Pull/Push
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

Frequent Fingering/Grasping/Feeling

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work required for this position is to be performed on-site. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The noise level in the work environment is loud. Have the ability to perform all above tasks in an environment of 90 degrees F or greater up to 80% of the shift or greater than 100 degrees F for 30minute intervals. Also have the ability to perform the above tasks in an environment of up to 35% Relative Humidity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25 - $20.00 per hour
