Practice Accountant (West Cork)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Profile:

Preparing audit exempt accounts for limited companies.
Management Accounts preparation annually for limited companies.
Dealing with Irish vat and Irish payroll for various clients.
Utilising & embracing the latest accounting software & technology.
Experience with UK and other international tax and company law a plus.
Strong technical ability and relevant continuous learning
Experience of accounting and audit software
Using CCH Accounts Production, Xero & associated Apps & Brightpay, plus ROS online/offline.
Using Google Drive and other cloud applications

Criteria:

Previous accountancy practice experience essential preferably within Ireland
Experience of Audit Exempt Accounts of Irish Limited Companies
Annual and Management Accounts for Irish Limited Companies
Experience with UK and other international tax and company law a plus
Excellent written and verbal communications.
A high standard of written and spoken English required.
Good time management, budgeting, and organisational skills
Ability to work well as a part of a team.
Contributing to the smooth running of the practice
A professional, proactive, and positive mindset
Continuous improvement, including maintenance of required technical knowledge.
Accounts & Audit Software - Proficiency with CCH Accounts Production, Xero & associated Apps & Brightpay would be a plus ROS online/offline, Google Drive and other cloud applications.
