STATUS:
- Full Time.
HOURLY RATE:
- $20-$23/hr.
SHIFT:
- M-F 8:30-5:30.
CLOSING DATE:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- AA Degree or higher. Equivalent experience is considered in lieu of formal education.
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in a healthcare practice working both front and back office.
- Working knowledge of insurance verifications and maintaining authorizations.
- Working knowledge of EMR systems and appointment scheduling.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments, with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
- Decisiveness with the ability to independently problem solve.
- Exceptional conflict resolution and customer service skills.
- Proficient with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Windows 11, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
- Successful completion of an FBI Background Check.
- Negative TB test.
- Proof of full vaccinations against COVID-19.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Experience working in a pediatric setting.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Assists the Care Coordinator with scheduling and client onboarding activities, as needed.
- Conducts insurance verifications and coordinates all aspects of obtaining authorizations prior to service delivery.
- Supports patients with understanding their therapy benefit coverage and any associated cost shares.
- Fields and reconciles patient billing inquiries utilizing relationship-centered communication while upholding company policy.
- Posts payments to client accounts daily.
- Manages incoming referrals from our Early Intervention program and uploads information into the practice’s EMR system.
- Works closely with supervisors, managers, providers, Executive Director, etc. to resolve concerns, improve performance and enhance the patient and family experience.
- All other duties as assigned.
