Raising Stars Learning Center in Rincon, GA is looking for one pre-k assistant teacher to join our 5 person strong team. We are located on 210 N. Columbia Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.

Full Job Description(SCHOOL YEAR 23-24)

Summary

Assist Lead Teacher in engaging learning activities for 4-5 year old as directed and monitored by Bright From the Start for lottery funded Pre-K program.

Duties

Assist in the coordination and implementation of curriculum designed for the daily schedule of activities for a lottery funded Pre-K program. Participate and attend required training. Monitor all activities for child's safety. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and stimulating environment for children. Assist in maintaining Work Sampling and observations for each child's file. Work cooperatively with Lead, Center Director children and families for best outcomes for children.

Requirements(If you do not meet the education requirements DO NOT APPLY)

CDA, TCC or TCD in Early ChiIdhood Education(BA in Early Childhood PREFERRED). Indoor and outdoor activity required. Ability to lift 10 -20 pounds if needed. Able to ascend and descend stairs daily, including body movements of dancing and exercising in activities with children; sitting on the floor, bending, walking and standing, carrying mats and lifting objects.

Must be registered with Georgia Professional Development System.

Must have years of experience and education credentials verified through the Georgia Professional Development System prior to employment.

Must be willing to complete a background check and fingerprinting.

Nice To Haves

Two years of early childhood classroom experience.

SALARY IS BASED ON EDUCATION AND VERIFIED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.
