Job description
Prep cooks are responsible for the production of the base materials required by our line cooks to produce Shadows signiture dishes. Strong knife skills and basic culinary acumen are required of our prep cooks.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Job Functions:
- Wash your hands when you arrive at work and throughout your shift
- Follow all required guidelines for PPE when required to wear and maintain a clean and sanitized uniform at all times.
- Maintains and stocks adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, condiments, etc.
- Washes glassed and other serving equipment at bars
- Rotate wine and beer in large cooler
- Stock refrigerating units with wines, beer, replace beer kegs, etc.
- Replenish bar ice
- Clean and polish bar, counters, shelves, equipment, bar stools, etc.
- Prepare food items needed in preparation of drinks
- Trash pickup and disposal at bar and bar service areas
- Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
- Organize and Clean empty beer bottles daily
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
- Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space.
- Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items on a regular and continuing basis.
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Must be able to stand and work 8 hour shifts
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Able to work flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Salary Range:
- $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
