Job description

Grace Church School is a non-sectarian preschool in Brooklyn Heights for children ages two to five years.

There are two associate teachers in each classroom with a head teacher. Associate teachers participate in all aspects of classroom life, including curriculum planning and helping to build trusting partnerships with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience with young children
• Warmth, patience, and a sense of humor are essential.

Schedule

• August 28 – June 13 (excluding holidays and vacations)
• Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm, Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

The school covers 100% of Health Insurance for the employee, offers a Flexible Spending Plan and pays toward graduate school in early childhood education for those enrolled. In the second year of employment, GCS contributes to a retirement savings plan.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
