The City of Medford has an exciting opportunity for two (2) part-time, year-round Discovery Preschool Teacher Aides (Recreation Leader I) in the Parks & Recreation Department.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older at time of hire.
• Graduation from High School or GED equivalent; or currently enrolled in school and on track for graduation.
• One (1) year of experience in the field of sports recreation, customer service, and/or child care.

Desired Attributes:

• Experience working in an early childcare setting with progressive responsibility
• Demonstrated enthusiasm with the ability to communicate professionally
• Ability to building working relationships and be a team player

Available Schedules:

• Up to 24 hours/week during preschool hours7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.31 - $17.98 per hour

Grade levels:

• Elementary school
• Kindergarten
• Pre-Kindergarten

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
