Duties and Responsibilities for our Teachers

• 
  Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum

for young children

• Develop activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social

needs of the children in the program

• Develop culturally appropriate program and activities
• Implement positive discipline techniques in the classroom
• Clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents and staff
• Observe children and make note of progress in child-specific portfolios
• Discuss children’s development with parents in bi-annual parent/teacher

conferences

• Complete 20+ hours of professional development each year
• Keep parents informed of program expectations, program activities and

their child’s progress

• Ensure the facility and equipment are clean, well maintained and safe at all

times

Requirements

Bilingual/bi-literate in both English and Spanish

-EEC Teacher or Lead Teacher Certified - or in process.

REQUIREMENTS

Pine Village is a Spanish Immersion Preschool program with 10 locations in the

Metro Boston area, we are currently hiring EEC certified Toddler and Preschool

Teachers (Bilingual in Spanish) to join our team for the 2022/2023 school year in

Needham and Newton.
