The Pricing Analyst serves as a contributor and business lead in the initiation, requirements gathering, design, prototyping, development, testing and administration of current and future analytical solutions for the Pricing function. The position works in close coordination with applicable Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business Unit and IT team members in various capacities.

The Pricing Analyst also serves as the “go-to” for various assigned user groups and is a primary lead/contributor in the full range of change management, training, adoption, user consultation and front-line support efforts for internal and field users in the area of Pricing analytics.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Champion in driving industry and process best practices in the evolution of Zimmer Biomet Pricing analytic suites (Vendavo, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx)
  • Primary owner of pricing-specific data which includes the establishment and maintenance of data in sustainable and efficient structures (including List Price, New Products, excel-based Pricing Tools).
  • Understand current business needs specific to Pricing and deliver sustainable solutions Technical and non-technical maintenance of analytical solutions such as dashboards, workflows, or reports
  • Maintain high level familiarity with other business application capabilities and scope definitions in order to make recommendations about potential integrations
  • Determine new requirements from user feedback and be a key liaison to the technical support team
  • Responsible for front line support of field users where the user needs training and coaching on existing functionality
  • Resolve issues directly where possible and escalate where necessary
  • Lead and assist with the creation and execution of functional test scripts and risk/Issue identification & mitigation approaches

  • Good project management and collaboration skills with the ability to contribute on a cross-functional team and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or equivalent experience SAP, Vendavo, Alteryx, Tableau experience preferred Excel VBA and SQL coding knowledge preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience assisting or taking direct responsibility for developing and implementing analytical initiatives Previous experience working in healthcare/orthopedics preferred
