Primary Care Physician-AdventHealth Family Practice at the Center for Health and Wellbeing

Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at the Center for Health and Wellbeing is looking for a dynamic and energetic Primary Care physician (MD or DO) to join an established practice in beautiful Orange County, Florida. This busy well-established practice has two physicians and one APRN and is located near AdventHealth Winter Park in the Center for Health and Wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program)
• Comfortable with patients 18 and up
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include early morning, evening hours, or weekend hours to meet PCMH requirements for patient access
• Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: joint injections, minor dermatologic procedures, basic gynecologic care

The Center for Health and Wellbeing is an 80,000 square foot facility that is designed to provide comprehensive, preventative and rehabilitative health and wellness services to the Winter Park community.

The Center includes:

• The Peggy and Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center featuring two pools and the latest in cardio and weight-training equipment.
• 15,000 square feet of multiple AdventHealth medical practices under one roof, including family medicine, diabetes and endocrinology and gastroenterology practices.
• An indoor walking track, open to the public.
• The BeWell Bar featuring the latest in health technology.
• Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen, serving healthy breakfast and lunch cuisine along with smoothies and coffee.
• An outpatient lab and retail pharmacy.
• Sports medicine and rehabilitation.
• Massage and acupuncture services.

Practice Description

This opportunity will provide a salary guarantee with productivity, quality and patient satisfaction based incentives. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, and relocation allowance. This practice is part of AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG). AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs over 900 physicians in 70 specialties. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.
