Responsibilities:

Support staff Roles are responsible for supporting general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children. They support planning and implementing the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum which includes activities for children that focus on physical, social and emotional growth. They provide materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play.
Responsibilities...

• A passion for working with your specific age group is a must.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday; part time and full time roles available
• Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children
• Observes all North Carolina rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
• Supports communication with parents at the end of the day regarding their child

Qualifications...

• Must have a pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
• Prefer to have or working on getting NC Early Childhood Credentials (EDU 119).
• Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility a plus
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Ability to interact and guide students of all ages and skill levels
• Greater salary opportunity with degree or college credits in educational field
• Varying shifts available, both full- time and part-time
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday.

• Full time Curriculum Coordinator on staff to assist with lesson planning, coordinates collaboration between teachers, support staff, and families.
• Full time Director and Assistant Director to maintain positive relationships between families and staff, and help coordinate events that celebrate our teachers and support staff.
