Finishing Technician: Print Graphics

The primary responsibilities of a Finishing Technician are to provide quality, on time delivery and efficiency in completing job orders with finishing touches and techniques as specified by the customer. Position is expected to develop an acceptable standard of performance on a variety of skills sets and utilize them as needed.

Several areas are included under the Finishing Department: Traditional Finishing, Grand Format Finishing and Framing

Traditional & Fine Art

• Operate hot & cold mounting press up to 80”
• Adhesive mount to rolls and ridged substrates
• Laminating various cold and heat activated laminates
• Laminating to ridged and roll substrates
• 2nd surface acrylic mounting

Grand Format Finishing

• Sewing – single & double needle
• Liquid laminator – machine
• Operate hand and auto grommet equipment
• Heat welding
• Webbing
• Hand cutting & trimming
• Operate Fotoba auto cutter

Dye Sublimation

• Sewing – single & double needle
• Hot knife
• Beading
• Applying -¼” Hem, Zippers, Velcro
• Specialty finishes
• Staging trade show graphics, SEG frames, backdrops etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
