Logitech is hiring a Privacy Specialist to join our Global Privacy Office. This person will carry out key privacy operations such as data subject rights requests, maintain and develop privacy documentation and processes and support the privacy team’s global compliance efforts. This person will support key privacy projects and develop and maintain processes and procedures to support Logitech’s global privacy program.

This is a truly global role that involves a wide array of products, software and services. You will support all of Logitech’s business groups including Gaming, Streamers and Creators, Creativity & Productivity and Video Collaboration.

We offer the opportunity to develop yourself in a fast-paced environment that focuses on delivering fantastic hardware and software to our customers all over the world.

Your Contribution:

  • Provide expert and pragmatic advice on the implementation and impact of global privacy and data protection laws to product and business teams and to colleagues in the legal team.

  • Coordinate with our privacy operations team and program manager to successfully deliver key privacy projects.

  • Partner with technical and non-technical colleagues to identify privacy and data protection requirements and best practices, and translate them into clear, actionable steps.

  • Work with cross functional teams to conduct effective Data Protection Impact Assessment considering the PbD framework and PETs.

  • Conduct LIAs and TIAs and advise the business on global international data transfer regulations.

  • Work with application owners and web teams and support the implementation of our cookie management solution and preference center.

  • Distill highly technical rules and disparate data processes into understandable terms – using plain English both for internal clients and our externally-facing documentation.

  • Collaborate with legal and business teams spread across time zones – in multiple locations in Asia, California and Europe.

  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to provide education, resources and training on privacy and data protection.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Law, Business, or Technology or equivalent (J.D. etc.)

  • Excellent understanding of global privacy standards and regimes including but not limited to CCPA/CPRA and the GDPR.

  • Ideal candidates will possess a strong technical aptitude and can communicate effectively in a legal and technical environment to make sure compliance standards are met.

  • 5+ years of experience in working on privacy and data protection related projects, ideally in a multinational technology company.

In addition,
preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • CIPP certification or equivalent.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Be a self-starter who works well with minimal supervision, but shows excellent judgment about when to look to managers and teammates for guidance, and when and how to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, lead & manage projects and drive/achieve results, while working autonomously.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Logitech is the sweet spot for people who are passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it. As a company, we’re small and flexible enough for every person to take initiative and make things happen. But we’re big enough in our portfolio, and reach for those actions to have a global impact. That’s a pretty sweet spot to be in and we’re always striving to keep it that way.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment
