The Royal Group (TRG) currently has a position open for a Process Assurance Leader in Sidney, Ohio. The Process Assurance Leader primary function is to ensure process compliance at all steps of the production process including 100% final assembly inspections. The Process Assurance Leader shall also maintain the nonconformance log and be the key point of contact for NCR’s owning each to a close.The Royal Group’s mission is to provide value-added solutions to the most demanding customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Audit all documented processes as it relates to production, record findings and share with Management team.
- Establish and revise documented processes.
- Maintain the Quality Management System for the Sidney, OH. location
- Perform 100% inspection on assembled packs, racks & pick & pull carts.
- Key point of contact for any nonconformities & own to complete resolution
- Count inventory for supply items and reorder based on min/max levels established.
- Manage min/max levels on shop supplies to ensure adequate level without excess and not to run out.
- Training new employees on quality expectations.
- Material handling.
- Assisting with assembly as needed.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Min 3 years in a process or quality role.
- Lean certifications.
- Conflict avoidance certifications.
- OSHA 10-hour certification.
- First responder training/certification.
- Basic understanding of machine operations.
- Troubleshoot machine issues as it relates to product quality.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Read blueprints/drawings.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from local management team.
- Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
- Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, and rate.
- Able to apply concepts of high school math.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Outstanding problem solving skills.
- Teaching skills in order to function effectively as a teacher for his/her personnel in the technical parts of the position.
- Excellent employee relations skills including being an active listener, understanding how to appraise personnel, applying both positive and corrective feedback, being able to resolve conflicts, demonstrates positive motivational skills including coaching techniques.
