Quality Control Technician
Since 1955, Joyce Manufacturing Company (JMC) has been providing residential building products to home improvement companies across Eastern region of the US. Due to growth, our family owned company is looking to make immediate hires to be part of our production team.
We are in search of organized, detailed oriented individuals who are a self-starters, multi taskers with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Reports directly to the plant manager
- Works with Production supervisors to meet quality control goals
- Leading the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to processes and procedures
- Creates / revises quality documents and standard operating procedures (SOP) under guidance of plant manager
- Trains production employees on quality related procedures
- Audits processes and procedures
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Self-motivated individual able to work in a group and alone.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Must be able to work hours as needed typically between 7am – 3:30pm (first shift), Saturday/Overtime
- High school degree
- Must be able to stand during normal work hours
- Must have own, reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background & drug test
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
