Abbott Ireland Diabetes Care Division Donegal

The Abbott Diabetes Care division based in Donegal Town manufactures FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre system.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Processor is chiefly responsible for carrying out direct operations in Manufacturing thereby ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating production equipment in a manufacturing / Clean Room environment.

• In Process Inspections.

• Writing/providing input for operating procedures.

• Computer data inputting.

• Materials/warehouse support.

• Data Entry.

• Receiving Inventory and Cycle Counting.

• Meeting customer requirements through the arrival and transfer of material in a timely and accurate manner.

• Improving Environmental Health and Safety performance in the plant.

• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES:

• Educated with a second level qualification and fluency in English.

• Previous experience working in a Clean Room environment a distinct advantage.

• Reports to Process Lead.
