This position will be responsible for various support duties in the Contract Services Department. These duties will consist of ensuring that Sherwin-Williams is a registered and compliant vendor for our customers. Tasks include but are not limited to utilizing government websites, third-party vendor sites, and completing customer forms.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS


  • Ensure all required Company locations are actively registered to conduct business with the Federal Government via System for Award Management (SAM.gov)
  • Assist with new location registrations
  • Assist with annual location renewals

  • Ensure that all required Company locations are actively registered to conduct business with property management companies via third-party vendor credentialing platforms.

A. Negotiate vendor service agreements

B. Provide required Company documentation (certificates of insurance, W-9s, etc.)

C. Submit requests to enable specific Company locations to sell to specific customer properties.


  • Process Customer vendor forms and agreements
  • Assist with compliance related responsibilities
  • Conduct bi-annual OFAC searches
  • Secure monthly compliance forms from sales team
  • Assist with generating/requesting certificates of insurance (COIs)
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks, including but not limited to telephone and email communications with other departments, the stores, and external customers

POSITION REQUIREMENTS


  • FORMAL EDUCATION:
    • Required:
  • High school diploma

    • Preferred:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

  • KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
  • Required:
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint & Outlook)
    • Strong knowledge of Adobe
    • Must be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and by written/e-mail correspondence with both internal and external customers
    • Strong organizational planning and time management skills

  • Preferred:
  • Familiarity with government/compliance websites

  • TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Required:
  • Manage the workflow to meet required deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Preferred:
    • Strong ability and desire to learn new programs
