AXA Partners Global Indirect Procurement function has been created end 2018. It has a purpose to generate sustainable savings on the 240M€ annual spend, by defining the right sourcing strategies and leveraging AXA buying power. In this context, we are looking for our future Procurement Category manager who will be a key contributor in this journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Risk linked to external vendors
• Simplify processes for AXA Partners stakeholders, by creating a One AXA Partners Procurement framework
• Sourcing: Optimize costs by defining the sourcing strategies with business stakeholders, for each Procurement category. Rationalize supply base to increase vale and manage risks. Contribution to efficiency plan
• Vendor Management: Optimize the customer-supplier relationships and manage risk. This will notably include: analysis of vendor portfolio by category, measurement of their performance and contract management (respect of conditions / SLA defined…), and implement a risk-based approach
• Successfully deliver Sourcing Projects working closely with Stakeholders across the global AXA Partners organization
• Support the delivery of savings and Service Improvements when the contracts are Operational and thereby maximizing the value for money of our agreements with third parties, by challenging demand and supporting negotiations with third parties
• Manage the risks associated with the company’s suppliers in the specific categories across AXA Partners & minimizing the legal and reputational risk associated with third parties
• SME of Policies, Processes, Procedures and Systems used to Procure Goods and Services across AXA Partners
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in our supply base through supplier consolidate, introduction of new suppliers and promotion of preferred supplier lists

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree level qualification
• End to end procurement knowledge. Extensive experience in Sourcing across key categories (Professional service, IT etc.). Experience of Procurement in a Global Environment
• Strong negotiating skills. Experienced in managing Contracts and Supplier Relationships.
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to understand/review contracts including legal aspects.
• Customer focus
• Ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate with a broad range of diverse and geographically spread-out stakeholders
• Ability to work within challenging deadlines and rapidly changing priorities
• Experience working in a regulated environment
