At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.
What will you be responsible for?
As an integral member of Epson’s professional imaging product management team, you will be responsible for product management in US and Canada. This role will focus on bringing new textile print solutions to market, building creative marketing programs and messaging to accelerate market awareness and sales, and collaboratively engaging internal and external stakeholders (including Epson’s parent company Seiko Epson Corporation) to drive forward new initiatives, develop new products and advance our business objectives.
What will you be doing?
- Work closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Product Development, Logistics, SEC (Seiko Epson Corporation, Japan), and other groups to manage the product from concept to launch and throughout its lifecycle.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and user needs.
- Follow processes for a complete product launch for assigned products.
- Support the company at events, including sales meetings, trade shows and virtual events.
- Be the expert regarding the competitive landscape and how Epson’s textile print solutions compare to competitor offerings. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking and make recommendations.
- Manage end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launch time frames are met.
- Communicating progress and updates to stakeholders and the broader organization.
- Continuously seeking feedback from users and stakeholders to inform future product development. Provide input into the development of product road maps for assigned products. Conduct and analyze market information and provide interpretation.
- Coordinate with SEC (Seiko Epson Corporation) to monitor product development process and makes product improvement and new product recommendations for meeting market needs to product management team.
- Operate within budgetary constraints by participating in the development of annual and quarterly budget forecasts.
- Participate in updating and reconciling operating and budget plans.
- Build strong relationships with peers, associated internal Epson teams, and Senior Managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
- Manage and leverage relationships with industry partners for specific product/service (best price, best product, etc.).
- Maintain professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.
- Prior Product Management or related business experience required.
- Strong market analysis, project management, marketing communications and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with commercial print technologies, software workflows and color management strongly desired.
- Demonstrated proficiency in solving complex problems while balancing multiple objectives.
- Ability to sell ideas through cohesive and creative presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to persuade across organizational lines inside and outside the company.
- Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).
- MBA or equivalent education/experience is a plus.
- All Travel - Up to 25%.
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $100,385 and $190,198. Please note that this position salary range includes multiple levels. The actual level and base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
