The Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) serves customers in a range of markets and applications from environmental and food safety analysis to forensic science and toxicology.

How will you make an impact?
We are looking for a remote-based Product Marketing Manager to join our team of highly engaged and collaborative software marketers to help drive our continued growth in small molecule pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.
The software product marketing team promotes our chromatography and mass spectrometry software through highly impactful marketing programs, digital campaigns, sales enablement activities and regular interactions with customers through seminars or targeted 1:1 activities.
As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for providing market insights, HPLC application understanding and software knowledge for the pharmaceutical markets. You will develop and deliver high value, high quality marketing collateral to support our go-to-market strategies for our pharma software. You will also become the primary interface for pharma-related software interactions with the commercial teams, business units and marketing peers.
What will you do?
- Lead or guide development of pharma software specific application collateral, demo videos and slide shows
- Be the go-to person and key subject matter authority for peers on all software related matters for the pharma market
- Collaborate with the HPLC marketing team to use their application content and provide consultancy for Pharma software applications
- Create and deliver agreed marketing tactics on time as defined in the annual marketing plan with a focus on biopharma including:
- Deliver impactful customer-facing marketing collateral
- Sales and support trainings for product positioning to internal and external customers
- Derive competitive positioning and winning points for our software offerings
- Understand, document and share market and customer needs for pharma companies
- Provide input to Product Managers and core team regarding key customer criteria for successful future product roadmap and feature improvements
- Work on special projects as required in connection with the Business Unit goals and strategy
How will you get here?
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry, analytical sciences or similar OR minimum of five years’ demonstrated ability in a biopharmaceutical role in research and development, manufacturing or marketing
- In-depth understanding of pharma market drivers and applications with extensive knowledge of regulatory and day-to-day operational requirements of pharma labs
- Strong experience working with chromatography instrumentation, particularly HPLC and UHPLC.
- Strong understanding of software used in pharma labs
- Good understanding of compliance and data integrity needs for regulated markets
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Be a self starter, used to working remotely towards exciting goals within a diverse, distributed team
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Fluency in English language
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel globally up to 25% of the time
Highly desirable:
- Working understanding of market drivers and applications in adjacent markets (biopharmaceutical, chemical/petrochemical, environmental, food safety)
- Solid understanding of single and triple quadrupole MS instruments and applications
- Knowledge of informatics software (e.g. LIMS)
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to connect with customer base to resolve business issues and devise innovative solutions.
