As the Product Marketing Manager of Channel Strategy & Segments on the T-Mobile Home Internet Marketing team, you will play a critical role in driving gross activations, maximizing net subscribers and increasing market share through scale and expansion of T-Mobile’s Home Internet presence in key markets and distribution channels. In addition to defining our key markets and channel distribution strategy, you will be responsible for driving consideration and adoption among T-Mobile Home Internet’s core/priority consumer segments.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset who thrives in telling stories through data, with the ability to craft data-driven marketing strategies, tactics and plans that are actionable in the short-term/long-term. This individual will be responsible for working with different teams across consumer insights, analytics, competitive intelligence, market research etc. to uncover insights and data that will drive our channel, market/regional and marketing investment strategies.

In addition to identifying consumer segments that have the highest propensity to consider/adopt our product, you will collaborate with team leads across Rate Plan, Pricing & Offers, Integrated Marketing, Product Portfolio & Revenue Growth to influence marketing plans, offers strategies and product roadmaps. Most importantly, you will provide recommendations based on data/insights to ensure that these strategies and plans align with our overarching channel and segment strategies, performance metrics and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize channel distribution strategy for T-Mobile Home Internet that goes beyond T-Mobile.com and T-Mobile Retail, build framework designed to maximize gross activations and net adds
  • Based on data and insights, define core target segments and recommend solutions, products, offers that will increase consideration and adoption among these segments
  • Define key markets and recommend regional marketing strategies based on opportunity sizing, historical performance and regional/market level competitive assessments
  • Utilize internal and external data sources and tools to pull metrics such as competitive market share, in-flow/out-flow share, gross/net adds/subscriber growth, competitive pricing & media spend etc.
  • Conduct market research on a regional basis, provide competitive market landscape assessments and analyze industry trends that can influence regional marketing plans, offers and pricing strategies
  • Support Rate Plan, Pricing & Offers team with offers/pricing strategies and yearly planning, including providing data pulls and analysis requests from internal teams
  • Support Rate Plan, Pricing & Offers team in post-launch reporting and analysis for offers and pricing

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Category Management, Product Planning, Portfolio Management, Analytics, or Corporate Strategy, Pricing, FP&A
  • 5+ years of omni-channel marketing experience with a track-record of developing and launching channel expansion strategies’
  • Must have experience in establishing performance indicators and KPI metrics and driving data driven decision making across cross-functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing complex data with the ability to build stories using data
  • Requires a proven track-record in developing strategies on a regional level as well as on a nationals scale
  • Consumer insight driven marketer with an entrepreneurial spirit, obsessed with discovering unmet needs of customers
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and translate data into creative solutions
  • A problem solver with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset who excels in ambiguity

  • Colorado Pay Range: $108,100.00 - $146,200.00

Washington Pay Range : $116,000.00 - $157,000.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
