Job Summary:
The Product Owner - Enterprise Marketing Tools is a highly skilled, versatile, dedicated subject matter expert who will directly contribute to the success of the Marketing Operations team’s objectives and goals. We’re looking for a Product Owner who is experienced in engaging stakeholders, partners and teams across all levels of the organization to optimize and implement enterprise marketing tools.

The Product Owner will report to the Director of Marketing Operations and is a remote position with home office setup as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to:

  • Be the Product Owner for the capabilities delivered through Marketo
  • Develop and socialize a roadmap of enhancements for the capabilities that reflects business priorities, business value and sets the vision for the capabilities
  • Manage and communicate tradeoff decisions between scope and schedule while offering alternative solutions
  • Work with internal teams to develop a unified and exceptional customer and user experience
  • Participate in feature assessment, requirements gathering, and documentation as needed with implementation partners, vendors and other internal teams
  • Communicate product and user experience requirements to development and technology teams
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships and communicate progress and evolution of the product roadmap
  • Stay informed of initiatives, evolving strategies and company vision
  • Act independently with little direction to understand and continually optimize the customer and user experience, anticipating future as well as current needs
  • Manage GDPR compliance with CRM Product Owner and Legal contact to ensure compliancy at all times
  • Research and investigate emerging technologies, best practices and tools to continuously improve the capabilities, along with other members of Marketing Ops
  • Conduct periodic assessments of the capability maturity and performance against business objectives
  • Manage Marketo licenses across the entire Marketing organization
  • Manage, optimize and own integrations within Marketo; currently includes On24, Cvent, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Linked, Google and any new API that need to be configured or reconfigured, tested and launched; soon to include Power BI
  • Maintain Marketo database by following best practices to maintain our contact universe without going over allotted size
  • Track and analyze deliverability to ensure our ESP ratings are running at optimal levels on a daily/weekly basis, and ensure plans are in place to throttle emails in case of a >5% deliverability day
  • Work with PMO to onboard new hires on Marketo training based on role and playbooks
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing Automation
  • Marketo experience, including deep knowledge of its features, reporting and integration with CRM and other technologies
Required Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter
  • Ability to show initiative without much management follow-up/direction
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Dedicated team player with the ability to develop strong working relationships across the Marketing department and wider Sales organization
  • Problem solving abilities with the ability to serve as an escalation point and knowledgeable resource

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power BI and Microsoft Teams
Additional Information:
  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $65,000 - $95,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
