The Biomedical Product Sales Specialist is responsible for engaging decision-makers at various levels of a hospital’s clinical engineering department with the goal of improving market share in their territory. Reporting to the Director of Biomedical Sales, you will be 95% phone-based and need to have a proven track re as providers shift their purchasing toward e-commerce and away from manual processes. We are t-line customer support for external customers. This includes answering product capability questions, selling products in adjacent modalities, handling order-related issues, and providing consultative product and supplier-related recommendations. Success in this area will require applying sound product knowledge and broad communication skills to solve customer problems and help them meet their goals and objectives.

What You’ll Do

Effectively advance Biomedical product sales through the existing customer base

  • Sell over the phone to higher levels of decision-makers within the current portfolio
  • Accurately update customer records with relevant information (contact names, titles, etc.).
  • Effectively utilize internal resources to solve customer issues and capitalize on new opportunities

Effectively advance Biomedical product sales through new customer acquisition

  • Navigate the internal hospital/IDN environments to reach decision-makers
  • Execute strategic sales plans as defined by the Director of Biomedical Product Sales
  • Sell over the phone to multiple levels of decision-makers within the current portfolio

Meet Daily KPIs

  • Minimum of 30 outbound phone calls per day & two hours of phone time
  • Utilize Salesforce.com, a minimum of 5 documented calls and appropriate follow-ups per day
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to track initiatives and pipeline growth opportunities

What You’ll Bring

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant business experience preferred but not required; Medical related product knowledge through training or on-the-job experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to sell to a customer base over the phone
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
