Production Clerk (Office Assistant)
Job description
This position is located within the Morris Cerullo Christian Ministry and as such you will be asked to attend staff Chapel and adhere to the tenets of the Christian faith.
The Production Clerk reports to the Vice President of Production and is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of the Production Department’s operations. This position picks up and delivers daily mail collected from the post office. You will also liaise with the Warehouse Manager and other Department staff periodically. You must be able to lift 50 pounds and deliver items with a dolly.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Performs a variety of mail room and shipping/receiving functions.
· Merges and print letters, badges, and merchandise labels, maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
· Pulls merchandise to fulfill pick lists, retrieves items from warehouse and prepares items for mailing.
· Processes Requests for Production Assistance (RPA) (e.g., event responses, mailings, etc.).
· Prints samples for each lasered mail piece.
· Merges and prints letters, as well as event confirmation packages.
· Compiles email and phone list selects to forward to the Web Content Department.
· Personalizes and prints all God’s Victorious Army (GVA) and ordination cards.
· Supports our Club Campaign by creating laser certificates, applying our corporate seal, and preparing for mailing.
· Processes year-end Canada tax receipts and forwards them to our Canada office for printing.
· Assigns all inventory codes and ensures proper data is entered in database, including cost, Fair Market Value (FMV) and fulfillment instructions.
· Compiles reports on a daily and monthly basis as applicable (e.g., Business Reply Mail (BRM), express mail, inventory reports and shipping costs).
· Maintains the daily and monthly meter logs and compiles web shipping reports.
· Maintains proper postage funds in the meter reserve and Business Reply Mail (BRM) accounts.
· Processes all mail and take to post office by end of each day business day. Periodically processes FedEx packages and delivers them to the FedEx drop off location.
· Maintains the copy room in good order, monitors shipping supply levels, and places supply orders as needed.
· Schedules the shredding company to empty shred bins as needed.
· Assists with event and conference needs which may require some weekend and evening shifts.
· And other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
· High School diploma or GED
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, & the mail merge process)
· Type a minimum of 35 WPM

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates on a large campus with multi-story buildings and uneven outdoor areas (e.g., steps, ramps, and gardens) that are open to the elements and changing weather conditions. This position requires regular interaction with staff and members of the public and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Noise levels will occasionally be high due to equipment, movies, musical and theatrical performances, and other factors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· This position requires the ability to navigate throughout a large campus with indoor and outdoor work and event spaces.
· Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
· Regularly lift and/or move objects 50 lbs.; occasionally team lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. Able to climb and perform physical work on a ladder, while practicing safe labor standards.
· Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend or balance.
· Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.

HOURS OF WORK:
Hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, days and times may vary based on business needs. Schedules can vary from week to week; must be available to work on weekends and holidays. A flexible schedule is required to adjust to the changing needs of business operations and guest services.
