Production Fabrication & Installation Professional

Signarama in Southborough, MA is growing! We are hiring a full-time Production Fabrication & Installation Professional to join our team who can produce and install all types of high-quality signage and work with customers on-site during installation in a courteous and professional manner. Signarama works with small and large commercial clients in the Metrowest region producing all types of interior and exterior signage. Our product line includes wall and window graphics, ADA and wayfinding signage, overhead directional signs, belt signs, channel letters, pylon and monument faces, traffic and road signs, vehicle wraps, and more. This is a dual role working in-house fabrication from our Southborough facility as well as out-of-house installations all over the Metrowest area.

You will train alongside our existing production and installation team for maximum success, learning the production workflow within the shop. This is a full-time hourly position eventually growing into a midday to early evening swing shift. Responsibilities:

• Mask, weed, and apply vinyl to substrates
• Must be able to use X-Acto and utility knives, tape measure, ruler, level, basic hand and power tools
• Properly load and operate a hot/cold pressure laminator using standard safety precautions
• Operate a vertical panel saw using standard safety precautions
• Operate board trimmer, print trimmer, or other finishing equipment
• Load and operate laser engraving and UV printing equipment
• Drive and operate a 40-foot boom truck following all safety protocols
• Maintain machinery in good working order
• Travel to different locations within a 50-mile radius to perform site surveys and install various types of interior and exterior signage
• Apply vehicle and window graphics following manufacturer specifications
• Maintain an organized, clean, professional store appearance at all times

Qualifications:

• Prior sign production and installation experience preferred, but not required. Translatable skills include experience in the construction, carpentry, and wide format commercial printing fields.
• Must be computer literate and willing to learn various proprietary software programs used to fabricate signage and manage production workflow queues within the shop
• Physical demand: must be able to climb ladders, install exterior signage from a boom truck, perform within tight crawl spaces, stand for long periods of time
• Physical demand: must be in good physical condition and able to lift over 50 pounds
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work overtime including early mornings and nights as well as weekends
• COVID-19 vaccination required
