JOB SUMMARY

This is semiskilled work performing mixing, blending, weighing, mold loading and operation in the manufacturing of composite material columns

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties of a production utility person include but are not limited to the following:

1. Performs all jobs in the production area on an as needed basis.

2. Mixes large batches of material using formulas and bulk mixing equipment.

3. Blends and weighs finished materials, loads molds and operate assigned spinning equipment. Removes columns from spinning machines and stacks them in holding racks to finish curing. Conducts initial inspection of column quality and reports deficiencies to management.

4. Operates bucket cleaning machine and other housekeeping equipment.

5. Assists maintenance in mold upkeep, repair and set up.

6. Maintain a clean orderly, and safe work area free of trash and debris.

7. Responsible for quality and perform other duties as assigned by management.

WORKING CONDITIONS

All duties will be performed at the company's Troy address. A forty (40) hour work week is normal but product demands may require daily overtime and weekends.

EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be dependable.

2. Must have good mechanical comprehension.

3. Must be able to lift 50-120 pounds on a routine basis.

4. Position requires standing for the majority of an (8) eight hour shift.

5. High school graduate or GED is desirable.

EXPERIENCE

None required. However, experience in any manufacturing environment is desirable.

EQUIPMENT USE

Must be able to accurately use weighing and measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. Must be able to use and be familiar with safety equipment as required for protection of hands, eyes and hearing. This job description is not an employment agreement or contract.
