Coastal Sunrise Contracting is a subcontracting company that specializes in large Multifamily projects across the Carolinas. We are seeking experienced superintendents with previous drywall & painting experience on fast paced large Apartment projects to join our team. As our Project Superintendent you will be accountable for the entire drywall and painting phase from mobilization to running the day-to-day operations on site.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to oversee large Multifamily projects – drywall & painting.
• Accountable for enforcing our safety policies emphasizing the wellness of our workers.
• Responsible for maintaining and expanding our existing customer relationships.
• Work closely with the team to ensure the project is tracking correctly – on time & on budget.
• Responsible for orchestrating all the manpower and materials on a job.
• Be the “boot on the ground” that ensures that our clients enjoy working with us and make it easy for them to deal with us.
• Ensure a clean and organized jobsite and ensures all hot list items and punch list items are taken care of with a sense of urgency.
• Duties will include but not limited to:maintaining & meeting schedules

ordering materials from suppliers in advance
reviewing daily progress
documenting issues with photos
plan work in advance

We prefer the candidate have:

• 3 plus years experience in a supervisory role overseeing drywall & paint projects
• Capability and drive to be in the field “hands on” if necessary
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow up with General Contractors in charge of the project
• Ability to supervise and direct or re-direct the work of others
• Knowledge of equipment being used onsite (man lifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts)
• The ability to respond quickly to issues and be an exceptional problem solver
• Strong work ethic as this is not a M-F 9-5 job
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Spanish speaking is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

• New Bern, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Drywall: 5 years (Required)
• Construction management: 1 year (Required)
