PURPOSE:

The responsibilities of this role include the ability to motivate, coach, train, and lead employees to perform their duties safely and efficiently. Essential to the success of the company is the attainment of various goals which lead to maximizing customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Supervise a diverse team of production operators performing a variety of job functions. Maintain a safe and clean work environment while maintaining a productive and efficient workflow, and meeting quality standards. Assure accuracy and accountability through the use of production and quality metrics, visual indicators, and positive reinforcement. Perform production supervision duties by consistently enforcing company policies and procedures.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing multiple departments, making sure all employees are at their assigned work areas to begin work and that there is sufficient work loads at each area. Maintain an even/timely work flow through production floor/soil sort. Maintain standard production goals and performance records. Review availability of employee’s benefits and approve employee’s time off request.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Problem solving, Good Communication, Interpersonal and Organizational Skills, Basic Reading and Writing Abilities, Team Leader experience/CBW experience. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, to calculate resource requirements and present supporting information for requests. Suggest corrective actions supported by data analysis

3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, to calculate resource requirements and present supporting information for requests. Suggest corrective actions supported by data analysis.

Basic physical requirements, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying (up to 60 Lbs.)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. In depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Kaizen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
