Production Technician

Salary Range – $20.00 - $23.00/hour depending on qualifications, plus year-end bonus based on company profitability.

Benefits – Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match and PTO.

Hours – Monday – Thursday 6 AM – 3:30 PM and 6 AM – 10 AM on Fridays. Some overtime may be required.

Location – Darien, WI.

Reports to – Production Manager.

Date – February 2023.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Ligchine was founded in 2007 and is a manufacturer of highly sophisticated concrete laser-guided screed machines that is used to level freshly poured concrete. The company has two locations in the US – one in the Louisville, Indiana metropolitan area and the other about halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. The company has shipped over 600 units worldwide since its inception and has consistently grown on a year-over-year basis. Due to this growth, the company is seeking to hire additional production technicians at our facility in Darien, Wisconsin.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mechanical assembly:
• Assist in assembling machines and machine attachments using various machine components including frames, motors, hydraulic parts and lines, fittings, etc.
• Documentation of test performance results.
• Analysis of product failure.
• Trouble shooting and repair of returned used equipment.

• Electrical assembly:
• Perform wiring and assembly operations on a diversified line of controls.
• Plan and layout work utilizing standard procedures.
• Cut, form and connect wiring in accordance with specifications utilizing space for best workmanship.
• Perform testing operations on units, calibrate and regulate units to meet all machine capabilities.

• Material preparation – Kitting and organizing of materials as required to begin machine assembly.
• Help maintain a clean shop and an organized toolbox.
• Clean machines as necessary

CANDIDATE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Electrical trouble shooting.
• Basic working knowledge of electrical circuits and schematics.
• Attention to detail.
• Safety minded.
• A strong work ethic is an absolute must as our company often spikes with workloads during new product launches and peak seasons. Ability to work overtime at certain times is required.
• Prior mechanical work experience.
• Prior Electrical assembly experience is a plus.
• Able to lift 60 lbs.
• Excellent attendance.
