This position is responsible for the delivery of RITE-HITE Products Corporation orientation programs at the designated facility to supervisor/management, clerical/management support and hourly team members. This position will interact regularly as a liaison between the Training and Development Coordinator and hourly team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Facilitate new hire orientation to include policies, procedures, classroom and hands-on production training.

Complete required documentation for training sessions.

Assimilate new team members to assigned jobs.

Follow-up on a daily basis with hourly team members on the production floor.

Act as SME for assigned training concentrations.

Assist with clerical tasks such as data entry for training tracking, etc.

Assist in fabrication and updating of training material.

Plan and schedule participants and specific training programs.

Monitor and track performed training.

Assist in developing and updating Job Safety Analysis and work instructions

Ensure all needed training material is in stock.

Seek and continually assess ways to improve orientation and new hire training; other duties as required.

Responsible for ensuring continuous quality and efficiency improvement over time.

Understands, supports and helps to enforce safe production practices.

Responsible for implementing and supporting the quality system and continuous improvement efforts.

Assists Production Supervisor in identifying employee training needs. Coordinates and/or provides on-the-job training accordingly.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Effectively direct the daily activities of production employees to ensure timely, on-time production.

Ensure continuous improvement with respects to safety, quality, efficiency/productivity, housekeeping and on-time delivery.

Ensure adequate skill level of employees by assessing and providing effective training as required.

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Full understanding of product assembly. Ability to work any and all areas at subordinate level.
