About the Job
We're seeking a passionate, punctual, and professional dog groomer to join our highly vibrant and fun team at Spanish Springs Pet Resort! We're searching for someone that shares our enthusiasm and immense love for animals. We're seeking full-time and part-time employees to join our amazing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling and maintaining grooming appointments.
- Properly communicate with owners for styles desired.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Properly communicate with other staff members throughout the day.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a warm personality and a welcoming attitude.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to take initiative and act in the best interest of the animals with minimal or no supervision.
- Ability to maintain self-sufficiency after training.
- Computer skills are highly preferred but not required.
- Extensive knowledge in animal behavior and body language.
Special/Physical Requirements:
- Two years of experience preferred.
- Ability to withstand varying weather conditions.
- Comfort and capacity to work with animals of uncertain temperament, as well as those who may have medical or other issues.
- Strength to handle and control large dogs on a leash. They do pull!
