Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) is currently seeking an Illinois licensed Professional Land Surveyor to join our growing surveying team in our Warrenville, IL office.
Our surveying services include topographic surveys, ALTA Surveys, boundary surveys, condominium surveys, plats of subdivision, easement plats, construction layout, as-constructed measurement, elevation certificates, and expert witness services. ERA utilizes current state of the art survey equipment including robotic total stations, Trimble GPS units, and UAV/Drone technologies.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned survey projects and field crews
- Responsible for all aspects of surveying practice, including client development and preparation of proposals
- Communicates with clients and project managers to determine work scope of survey projects
- Performs CAD based calculations and analysis in the preparation of Construction, ALTA, Boundary, Topographic Surveys and Plats of Subdivision
- Perform project research of recorded survey documents, maps, plats and deeds
- QA/QC and supervising the preparation of survey drawings and documents
- Oversees multiple survey crews and office staff
- Trains interns and entry level staff
Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Illinois.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to competently read civil drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout
- Candidate must be reliable, dependable, responsible, and detail oriented
- Must communicate well with clients, accommodate client work requests and create work orders
- Must be able to work independently with little instruction
- Valid driving license and driving record acceptable to our company insurance provider
- Independent worker and ability to work within a diversified project team of professionals
- Proficiency in operating Trimble GPS/VRS and Robotic Total Stations is preferred
- Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident (without sponsorship)
