Seeking a Program Administrator.
The Program Administrator will oversee the quality and quantity of care provided to patients at the Center for Mental Health and BHP-Adult. They will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising the members of the multidisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Social Workers, Office Manager, Patient Business Associates, and Grant Programs.
Compensation: $115,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize clinical services for the Center for Mental Health/Integrated Center at Bishop Walker and Behavioral Health Program for Adults
- Supervise clinic support staff and be responsible for day-to-day operations of the clinic
- Co-sign services provided by LMSW staff and answer clinical questions from therapists
- Manage admission and termination of each client, providing documentation for the admission note and assigning new cases upon admission
- Assist in planning and implementing programs such as Quality Assurance and Utilization Review
- Gather reports and monitor compliance with corrective actions
- Assist in chart reviews to ensure chart documentation is in compliance
- Oversee the ordering of clinic supplies
- Function as proxy for the Unit Chief at departmental and hospital meetings
- Attend monthly UR, Incident Review, Administrative, Department Head meetings
- Collect monthly reports from staff, including collecting data for staff statistics
- Assist in conducting employee performance reviews, assessing training and developmental needs, recommending hiring, discipline, and termination
- Ensure that component respectful care is provided to each patient
- Coordinate activities of the multi-disciplinary team in providing a comprehensive treatment program for patients of the units
- Interview prospective employees for the treatment team, evaluate and supervise performance of staff members, and discipline as necessary according to Human Resources guidelines
- Organize and conduct the quality assurance program for the unit, providing annual plans, chart audits, and reports as required on a timely basis
- Ensure that services provided meet prevalent standards of care, applicable code for Joint Commission requirements, OMH regulations, by-laws, rules, and regulations of the Medical Staff, and departmental policies and procedures
- Participate as a member of the Department's Cabinet, Incident Review, Peer Review, Quality Assurance, and other committees as assigned by the Director
- Evaluate the program of the unit on an annual basis and report evaluation to the Director
- Be available to unit staff and/or patients on a 24-hour basis for crisis situations, problems, etc.
- Assess the in-service education needs of the staff and plan and conduct the needed in-services programs
- Attend meetings and participate in committees as assigned in both the community and facility
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology required
- Minimum of three (3) years job-related experience
- Current license as Clinical Social Worker certification or Psychologist.
