This position exists to ensure a quality experience for students seeking to connect with employers and make career decisions that align with their goals. This role will include advising students on resumes/cover letters, performing mock interviews, assisting with internship course registration, presenting workshops, providing outreach to student groups, career event assistance, designing handouts, and doing social media posts.

- BA/BS degree in any major. (No engineering experience necessary.)
- 2 years of work experience.
- Strong interpersonal and counseling/advising skills with the ability to work with a variety of constituents.
- Excellent communication skills including group presentation and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience in higher education setting, recruiting, or human resources is preferred.
- Experience with career services management software. (e.g., CRM systems, Symplicity, Handshake) is ideal.
- Experience working with graduate and/or international students in addition to undergraduates is a plus.

- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading
- Ability to travel around campus for meetings and to attend to duties
