In addition to helping senior executives ensure that program priorities focus on the highest value strategic initiatives, the role is expected to deliver exceptional program outcomes through skilled use of project and program methodologies and control mechanisms.

The position will help instill and enforce project lifecycle management from discovery through post-implementation review and benefit realization.

Job Description:

  • Lead multiple complex, high-value, high-risk programs across a spectrum of business sponsors and delivery teams.
  • Support program stakeholders and sponsors in effective decision-making
  • Coach project and program actors in effective project management discipline and team participation
  • Facilitate course corrections for programs and projects that are in jeopardy of failure
  • Drive consistency in program delivery methodologies, tools and templates
  • Enforce proper use of project and program control mechanisms
  • Craft intake mechanisms to enable objective priority-setting across a broad portfolio of projects and programs.

Requirements:

  • Skilled in written/verbal communication, highly adaptable, and capable of handling multiple projects
  • Monitor/control project financial accounting
  • Create/Maintain project schedules/calendars to ensure that work proceeds according to plan
  • Engage project owner(s)/key stakeholders to any potential problems before they occur
  • Ensure the success of the project through approved PM procedures & guidelines by adhering to Project Lifecycle (PLC) methodology
  • Provide project and program related reporting
  • Maintains project site, artifacts, emails and documentation in repository in SharePoint
  • Apply Change Management process as appropriate to control project scope
  • Manage vendor relationships and project deliverables
  • Ability to define and escalate project and program related issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of Project Management Tools (i.e. Smartsheet, Project, etc.)
  • Drives/initiates action/progress to keep project moving forward
  • Acts as primary liaison with vendors/consultants, project stakeholders, other cross divisional teams
  • Maintains business relationship between project and program stakeholders
  • Must be able to work in a time sensitive environment, be a self-starter and highly motivated
  • Experience in client facing role managing highly complex/large projects
  • Possess a strong level of knowledge of managing multiple cross divisional teams
  • Minimum of 12 Years of Experience managing projects and/or 4 years of program management
  • Should have managed multi-million-dollar programs and project resources
  • Proactively manage inter-project/intra-project dependencies
  • Possesses the ability to manage competing priorities with strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to influence and negotiate to deliver key messages in group settings
  • Must be able to quickly extract/analyze data, summarize results/conclusions and effectively present findings
  • Define and publish program-level dashboards to executive leadership
