We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager to drive impact across a range of cross functional areas within our intelligent robotic coffee platform. You will be responsible for successful delivery of large-scale global programs across commercial, product development and marketing value streams. The role relies upon experience in relationship management, financial management, risk management, communications, change management, delivery execution and benefit-realization. You will have frequent leadership interactions with senior executives and must have a well-developed sense of strategy and timing as well as excellent verbal, written, negotiation and presentation skills.
In this role, you will:
Lead global programs to launch and globalize an entirely new product and revenue stream
Manage and monitor cross-functional programs in a matrix organization and ensure successful delivery
Develop and manage full-lifecycle project plans to ensure on-time delivery, provide day to-day coordination, risk management, and quality assurance for tasks
Identify dependencies and develop mitigation strategies
Orchestrate cross-functional core teams including SW development, HW development, Product Management, Procurement, Operations, Finance and Marketing
Establish and maintain a tight working partnership with business owners, executives, and program teams to rationalize business objectives & business priorities
Administer the program budget through assembling, auditing and enabling negotiation across cross-functional project budgets
Establish tracking and roll-up of project milestones and metrics for program level status reporting
Ensure planned, regular, and effective communication of status, issues, risks, and actions among all stakeholders and teams involved in the program
Lead stakeholder communications and negotiations ensuring timely updates of key risks and discrepancies
Continuously monitor development process and proactively work to identify and resolve issues within the projects and across programs.
Manage stakeholder expectations, revise plans and shift priorities as needed and in conjunction with all participating parties, to ensure successful completion of the program
Help drive decisions to align or realign deliverables with program outcomes; ensure that the program is on track to meet business goals and ROI
Bring a strong sense of execution and ownership to the team
Required for this Role:
Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or management and 7 years of program management experience in delivering large-scale programs (over $5M); experience must cover all phases of a project lifecycle (discovery, definition/design, development/testing, delivery and post-implementation support).
Experience delivering global programs or products from inception to launch across regions and markets
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
Ability to bring structure while dealing with ambiguity
Experience coordinating work across large organizations
Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams (e.g. and multiple partners in different time zones
Experience communicating with stakeholders from engineering, executive leadership, and operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation, organizational & interpersonal skills.
Strong relationship building skills with senior executives across various departments
Experience in writing, reviewing and managing business specifications, technical specifications, project plans, training plans, communication plans, and other related project documentation.
Experience with applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio) required.
We're excited if you have:
10+ years of program management experience
PMP or PgMP certification
MBA or another advanced degree
Demonstrated experience of managing global programs over $10M
Ability to understand, interpret, manage and communicate technical and business team’s needs, concerns, risk, issues and collisions across all departments.
Strong negotiation skills
Demonstrated experience managing and directing employees, contractors and/or consultants in a matrix team setting
