Vista Community Clinic is a private, non-profit, multi-specialty outpatient clinic providing care in a comprehensive, high quality setting. Responsibilities

This position will oversee our outreach, migrant health and mobile services efforts. Responsible for program development, design, and implementation. Supervise all aspects of program operations, formulate budget, and define the scope of work.

  • Provide direct supervision of project staff including personnel administration, work assignments, recruitment and hiring, reviews, disciplinary action and training activities.
  • Prepare training curriculum and provide on-going training for project staff, clinic staff and program participants as required
  • In coordination with Clinic public relations staff, develop press releases and promotional material as needed
  • Participant of grant writing team
  • Serve as a liaison and assist with collaborative support activities with community agencies, local government representatives, neighborhood residents and other Vista Community Clinic project staff

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field
  • Minimum two years' related experience
  • Valid California driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum two years' related experience or Master's degree in Public Health or related field

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Knowledge of available local community resources and government, community health centers, public assistance programs and state/federal regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, spreadsheet, desktop publishing programs and business e-mail communication systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 - $65,000.00 per year
