The NetworX Configuration Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert in NetworX systems configuration and utilizing healthcare industry concepts regarding pricing and company objectives for their reimbursement policies and contracts to resolve and develop configuration solutions and convert them to NetworX configuration objects, in support of client and business requirements.

This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid NetworX skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively. While this is a WFH (Work From Home) position, on occasion, travel to client and/or Cognizant offices may be required.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with business and client for requirements gathering
  • Read Payer-Provider contracts, specifically reimbursement related sections, and understand and interpret the contract terms and design how those terms will be converted to NetworX terms and other configuration objects
  • Design and build high quality deliverables in the NetworX set of tools (ratesheets, fee schedules and code groups), adhering to defined standards for Configuration Design for NetworX Implementation/Conversion projects.
  • Create and run unit tests to ensure requirements are met as per the agreed standards and specifications
  • Propose recommendations to increase auto adjudication, evaluating solution alternatives
  • Identify gaps in expected pricing methodologies vs NetworX tool capabilities, propose solutions and work-arounds to address those gaps
  • Provide detailed and timely status updates to management
  • Help establish and enhance development policies, procedures and standards; and enforce their implementation
  • Ensure quality and consistency through the implementation of the NetworX set of tools
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams

Additional Responsibilities

  • Keep up to date in recent and upcoming NetworX, Facets and QNXT releases that affect day to day activities
  • Work with other members of the NetworX Consulting practice to document best practices, identify tool gaps and effectively communicate them to Product and Support teams
  • Collaborate with fellow consultants to help the development both in NetworX expertise and consulting skills
  • Propose and participate in initiatives for NetworX Consulting practice growth
  • Coordinate and participate in solutions with Technical teams, product teams and support teams regarding new issues, identified gaps, and enhancements and defect fixes.
