Our Opportunity

The Project Accountant performs various accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting..

Key duties include:

• 
  Collaborate and maintain strong working relationships with project teams and external partners
• Setup and maintain construction jobs
• Complete monthly billings and any required paperwork
• Ensure accuracy of job costs through the proper application of materials, payroll, and other direct expenses
• Reconcile physical inventory counts to accounting records at month-end
• Work with project managers and customers to facilitate the collection of accounts receivable
• Assist with the completion of monthly expense reports
• Complete year-end audit tasks as assigned
• General support on various other projects as needed

Ideal candidate should have:

• BA in accounting or finance
• One to three years of experience in Accounting
• Math and computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Prior experience in construction
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Solid math and analytical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills including use of phone, computer, speaking, listening
• Ability to plan, problem solve, reason, prioritize
• Computer literacy
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• General office environment
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
