Project Coordinator

College and Career Readiness
223 Days - 2023-2024 School Year

Brief Description of Position:
Works under the supervision of a Director or Assistant Superintendent and is responsible for the daily operation of assigned College and Career Readiness (CCR) programs including, but not limited to, supervision and evaluation of assigned staff, fiscal accountability and professional leadership. These programs include countywide Career Technical Education (CTE) grants and pathway support; the
School to Career (STC) Partnership; and the Marin Regional Occupation Program (ROP). This position will lead current CCR and CTE programs and work to develop and expand CTE pathways in the county, especially related to a new CTE Center located at Terra Linda High School in San Rafael.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and evaluates program personnel in accordance with established MCOE policies and procedures.
  • Provides professional leadership.
  • Insures smooth daily operation of assigned programs.
  • Implements and monitors program budget.
  • Determines needs for and provides appropriate staff development.
  • Provides support to other MCOE divisions and programs.
  • Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with outside groups which may include, but not be limited to parents, community agencies, volunteer groups, county and city government departments, and local businesses.
  • Plans, develops and implements new programs and services or other projects as appropriate.
  • Communicates effectively.
  • Solves problems effectively.
  • Insures that program operation is in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Participates in activities designed to promote personal professional growth.

Certification & Qualification Requirements:

  • Valid California Administrative Credential or Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Up to 5 years of successful administrative work, or the equivalent within the profession.

Condition of Employment:

Salary Range: $164,320 (223 days) plus comprehensive benefit package
