Location: Hybrid - Remote & In Office (4000 Hadley Road South Plainfield, NJ)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Operations and Regulatory Programs environmental compliance teams in managing day-to-day activities for Electric and Gas Utilities.
- Maintain spreadsheets, SharePoint Sites and associated Locus database relation Environmental Spill Response.
- Assist in tracking budgeting, accounting and other financial management activities as required.
- Keep track of consultant spill responder training requirements and qualifications.
- Conduct field oversight of spill response and related activities inclusive supervising industrial service contractors.
- Conduct field inspections of spill response and environmental remediation sites.
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years of professional work experience.
- 0-3 years of Environmental Compliance and or Consulting work.
- 0-3 years in technical field (Engineering, Science etc.)
- Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or other STEM Undergraduate preferred.
- 3-5 years of Scientific/Technical work experience in lieu of technical degree.
Bachelor's degree required
Required Skills:
- Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- GIS management experience.
- Database and work management experience (ex. Locus, SAP, Salesforce)
- New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Site Remediation familiarity
- Microsoft Access
