Our client a fast growing civils company is currently recruiting for a Junior Site Engineer or Senior Engineer to cover projects in Limerick Tipperary and Cork.

. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working on civil projects and must have expereince setting out.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who can work on their own initiative & has a keen interest in career progression.

• Attend site meetings
• Provide regular progress reports
• Travel to Project Sites
• Ensure all works on site are undertaken in accordance with the company’s positive approach to health & safety, safe working practices and current Health and Safety legislation
• Set an example of the company’s professional image at all levels of contact, and ensure similar conduct from subcontractors and supervisors.
• Manage project outputs to agreed milestones & deadlines
• Manage the budget against the target cost identify and escalating any changes within the target cost

Requirements

• A Third Level Degree in a Construction related discipline, Engineering and/or Project Management
• Previous experience as a Junior Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer
• Ability to read and interpret drawing specifications for construction projects is a distinct advantage
• Effective communication, supervision, and managerial skills essential
• Excellent organisational and time management skills essential
• Must be a strong team player and also able to work on own initiative
• Full drivers license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €46,057.91-€65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
