As a Project Engineer – Protection in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.

Note: United States Citizenship is required. TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

As a Project Engineer - Protection, a typical day might include the following:

• Supporting large utilities and industrials companies
• Perform consulting work on projects (design protection schemes, provide setting calculations, configure SEL devices, perform power systems studies, etc.)
• Working on projects in the areas of Oil & Gas, Electrical Utility, and/or Renewable Energy
• On-site commissioning (25% or more)

This job might be for you if you have:

• Experience with Protective Relaying (SEL Quickset etc.)
• Understanding of control schematics
• Power systems study knowledge (ETAP, SKM, etc.)
• 2+ years of relevant experience (Oil & Gas, Electrical Utility, Renewable Energy, etc.)
• Commissioning experience

*SEL bases title on individual knowledge and experience.

Pay Range Data

We anticipate filling this position as a Project Engineer I $88,000 - $108,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
