AIA Countertops, a Division of Patrick Industries is seeking an Estimator to add to their Syracuse, IN team. AIA is the area’s largest fabricator of stone, quartz and solid surface countertops for the Residential, Commercial, and Industrial markets.

The Estimator, reporting to PROJECT MANAGER, will work closely with the Engineering and Sales Departments to quote solid surface and stone countertop projects.

The main job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Prepare formal estimates and quotes for solid surface & stone countertops

· Communicate with customers on project details, changes and adjustments

· Prepare internal documents for planning and scheduling work

Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

· Excellent math skills

· Experienced with Excel software

· Orientation to details

· Ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines

Other desirable experience or training:

· Construction blueprint reading

· Prior experience with millwork, solid surface or stone countertop fabrication

· Prior experience with software “take-off” programs
