Job Title:
Project Executive New Directions - Learning
Permanent, 20 hours.
Location:
Naas Town Centre, 1st Floor, Dublin Rd, Naas, Co. Kildare, W91 TD0P
Job Purpose:
The Project Executive will be a valuable resource within the Operations Team providing a projects/development resource in the auditing and supporting NLN centres in line with the implementation of the New Directions Standards and the EASI tool process.
Key aspects of the role will be the project planning, collaboration, and support to Operations local management within the 4 steps of the Evaluation, Action and Service Improvement tool.
In addition, the ‘regional’ aspect of this role will provide quality improvement opportunities to be shared and leveraged. The reporting of findings will be a key part of this.
Minimum Education & Experience required:
- A third level graduate in Health & Social Care, Education and Training or related discipline
- At least 3 years’ experience in similar roles with a proven track record of effective service development, project management and regulatory compliance in services.
- A proven track record in project planning and project management is essential.
- Strategic networker with positive relationship management and interpersonal skills
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- In collaboration with Local Managers (who have active day to day involvement in the service) promote and support the use of agreed improvement methodologies, that align to the key principles of the New Directions Interim Standards for Services and Supports for Adults with Disabilities and include accessing the unique knowledge that frontline staff possess, to ensure quality service delivery.
- Promote standardisation and reduce variation across services/centres where applicable, within a framework that recognizes that a key principle of the Standard is that services and supports are tailored to an individual’s need and the scale of need is most diverse.
- In collaboration with Local Managers (who have active day to day involvement in the service) leverage and build upon existing local partnership approaches with stakeholders who have an important role to play in supporting individuals to meet their goals and achieve a good quality of life.
- Support Local Managers with the ‘Step 1: Preparation for Self Evaluation’ by engaging with stakeholders, conducting interviews, and submitting recommendations as to which policies, records or other documents need to be examined, developed, or revised in order to ensure full compliance and a consistent approach across NLN centres.
