We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Biologics Division located in Ballina, Co. Mayo, Ireland.
This role shall report to the Head of Operations Analytical & Biosafety and the main duties & responsibilities shall be:
- Manage and control project scope, timelines, and budget, and lead submission of scope changes and contract revisions to client services team
- Lead project meetings: create agendas and meeting minutes and proactively follow-up on action items and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project timelines through collaboration with technical leads and site schedulers, e.g. MS Project Gantt charts, Smartsheet reports
- Manage and approve costs and invoicing for all project-related expenses.
- Organise and coordinate shipping/logistics for samples required to be submitted to subcontract lab
- Follow all internal SOPs and collaborate with technical and quality leads to ensure client projects meet appropriate GMP/ICH testing requirements.
The following are minimum requirements related to the Project Manager position.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in biological or physical sciences (or related discipline).
- Experience: minimum 4 years related experience in project management in a laboratory or research environment. Experience in a CRO/CMO preferred
- Other: Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Possess analytical thinking and problem- solving skills. Ability to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change. Working knowledge of computer software (MS Office, MS Teams, Excel, Smartsheet) and database experience preferred).
